Arsenal, the Premier League leader, is planning a friendly match at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, home to Real Betis, as part of its preparations for the upcoming season. This match will be the Gunners' first return to this 51,700-capacity stadium since 2020, when they won the Europa League 4-2. In recent years, Arsenal has traditionally prepared for the season with tours of Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. However, considering the participation of many of its stars in the World Cup, the club has decided to change its plans. Six players from manager Mikel Arteta's squad have withdrawn from representing their national teams due to injuries. They include captain Martin Odegaard, Jurrien Timber, and Iperu Eze, who missed the League Cup final.
