A powerful storm known as Storm Órfinn has swept across the western coast of Ireland, bringing winds reaching speeds of up to 183 kilometers per hour. The storm caused flooding, disrupted electricity supply, and led to the cancellation of numerous train services.

Local residents described the terrible aftermath of the storm, speaking of torn-down trees, damaged vehicles, and strong gusts of wind. Around two thousand homes were left without power due to the storm.

"This was a real nightmare, I have never seen anything like it," said one of the witnesses. He noted that Storm Órfinn brought with it sheets of rain, thunder, and lightning, creating an unbearable situation in the region.
