Gantz expressed his readiness to provide visas for Palestinians who decide to leave the Gaza Strip due to medical problems. In response to this, Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney stated that such a proposal would not be accepted. Coveney also emphasized that Ireland reminded Israel of its obligations under the Convention on Human Rights concerning the humane treatment of refugees.
